Koh Samui

When my internship ended after 16 weeks, my best friend from my current hometown came over to visit me and I figured out the perfect trip for us!
Honestly, I was overwhelmed when I picked her up from the airport. I only know her 2 years until now, we met in university and she already belongs to the few people in my life I really trust and love.
After a long time she is the one who showed me, again, what's real friendship. It's about unconditional love, and this makes me feel so safe.
And when she said she will book the tickets, it was clear to me that she was damn serious about it, haha.
Here's to you, Honey.
So after she landed we spent a few days in Bangkok (the post will come in the end as she has got all the pictures, haha) and then headed to Koh Samui.
We stayed at the Sheraton Resort in Koh Samui and it was a whole dream! We enjoyed it a lot as normally we live a normal low cost student life, haha. But this time we took the opportunity...
So after partying 2 days already in Bangkok, the party went on in the island on sunday... which was Koh Phangan.
Yes, we went to the Full Moon Party and there were a lot of people who warned us before.

Actually we had a lot of fun until I realized that my phone got stolen. After that the party was over. To be honest this never happened to me before as I am quite careful with my belongings but it was impossible to be careful enough if you are not carrying your phone in your bra or left it at home.
So as a recommendation: Leave your phone in the hotel and have fun! Otherwise you will be as sad and dissapointed as me.
It was not really about the mobile itself, more about the pictures. Fun fact that it's the other way around for the one who stole it.
It's not a safe party, but as long as you leave your most important belongings at home and go with a group, or at least by two person, it can end up as a legendary party.
The days afterwards we spent a lot of time relaxing on the island, in the hotel, riding around with some rented motorbikes and absorbing some sun and warmth at the beach.

Spots to visit: Lamai Beach, Na Muang Waterfall, Waterfall 2, Elephant Riding, Big Buddha Bach

Hanoi 2015

Sweety's,

as my phone got stolen in Thailand the last 2 weeks I stayed there I also have lost 7000 memories and my whole stay in Asia.
Gladly, my friends sent me all pictures which I have sent them over the last months... still it's only 1/10 of all pictures and videos.
As my wifey and me took a lot of pictures with the camera after the loss of my phone, still all pictures from my stay in Vietnam are gone.
Consequently, there are only a few bits and pieces left... but still I think they are beautiful pictures.
Therefore, do not complaim about the quality... it's bad, but at least a few memories left and a little impression.:)

gratefulness

Sweety's!
It's been a long time ago that I have posted something new!
I am so sorry for that (blame me), but you know...life just came in between.
And as this is more a hobby, I tend to not prioritize this whole thing, which doesn't mean that I won't feed you with new stuff!
I just wanna do it rightly and this takes time. :)

So...my adventure for this year came to an end and finally I am back to Gerrrrrmany. Ugh, somehow I also missed it. Sounds crazy, right?
All those people speaking your language, the culture, the direct behaviour to each other... and of course friends and family.
Even the weather..., not that I like the cold, but I like autmn.
Well, the golden one. ;)
It might sound a little odd, but in Thailand I just realized how much German is in me, haha.

But all in all it was just a fantastic time over there and I don't regret any moment in paradise.
I met a lot of great people, ate tasty food, laughed so much from deep inside of my heart, danced the soul out of my body, spread love everywhere...
Everyday this one thing comes into my mind... and this is that
 life's so damn beautiful.

You have to take opportunities, do not worry about yesterday, today or tomorrow. Live for the moment and try to be a good person, living your life without affecting another.
I used to spend too much time overthinking myself, my life, my actions...
It was more doubting than doing.

This has changed. And it feels great.

I don't know if my stay abroad has dramatically influenced my way of thinking or if it's just me, but those 4 months maybe helped me to realize it more.

Being back now I am still grateful and I feel balanced.

Mostly it's you and your mind and what you make of... if you listen to your heart, it will lead you to the right things.

Actually I just wanted to write a quick post about Koh Samui but well... this is the result.
It just ran from my head through my arms until the end of fingers typing all this.

So coming to an end I want to encourage people who feel held back by something... let it go.
Just do it... just live.
Mostly it's only yourself who's stopping you.

From me to you with a lot of love,

Ayutthaya

Lovelies,

About two weeks ago I had a weekend alone as Andrew went to Macao having some fun by trying to get big money with a good friend, (haha). So I decided to have a trip on my own as I actually enjoy traveling alone sometimes as well... it keeps me calm and my whole soul and thoughts can just flow.
It can be very peaceful and I enjoyed it a lot.
Since I know Thailand better I always wanted to visit Ayutthaya, which is the former capital of Thailand in the 13th until 18th century and nowadays famous for its temple ruins.
I just met a girl who decided to show me the city as a kind of a tour guide but actually it was like traveling around with friends. Very easy and spontaneously, I am very happy that I have met her.
We rent some bikes over there , visited the temples and had some very nice traditional Thai food for lunch.
And ohhhh how much have I missed it to ride bicycle ! I enjoyed it so much to go by bike surrounded by complete quietness and nature.
It was such a wonderful and peaceful day, always nice to escape from this crazy life in Bangkok...although I love it, hehe.

Hugs and kisses,
MinyV
